Gave this to my kid because I can't stand him coming home and asking me what to do with his girlfriend. Needless to say it was either he read this book or I cancel his phone. He read the book.
I always thought my texting was good enough to get the job done, but after reading this I learned a bunch of helpful tips and tricks. Now I'm just waiting for a sequel ;]
Do not buy this it tells you sweet fa. It is a rip off and shouldn't be for sale at all

It was very disappointing. There was nothing new that we don't already know. I felt like I was reading a school assignment of little pages.
Can't believe this has mostly 5 star review, so have to wonder the age of the reader. I suspect it is for preteens or teens. Anyone should understand that you do not encourage anyone you are not interested in and that you need to be careful how you word your texts, so as to not encourage someone you are not interest in.
This book contains so little information that I find the number of 5 star reviews a bit suspect. It boils down to know who you are texting, know the outcome that you are seeking, and hint (called leading in the book) at what you want. The "book" is so short that it takes about 10 minutes to read, and gives very few examples. The examples that are given are as bland as can be. Save your money!
